Goethe Institut, a German language teaching school, reached out to us for several items. First, they needed a more efficient reception desk in their entrance that would provide a clean look when entering and hide their technology. Moreover, they also wanted to be able to use the desk to display their marketing materials. We did a simple panel system desk with some tool rails with accessories to display their marketing materials. The panels are also low enough that it does not create a tall barrier between their receptionist and guests.

Secondly, they wanted to add some student chairs to their space that would provide some pop of color, be comfortable, and have simple lines to match the other contemporary pieces in their space. We tried many options but stuck with the Herman Miller Caper chairs which fit all their criteria. Moreover, they wanted to put up additional whiteboards in their space but wanted again a more contemporary feel. We settled on Magnetic back painted whiteboards by Claridge which allowed us to create a custom size as well as use their Invisi-mount system keep the installation clean. Lastly, they had a need for small, well-priced teacher desks that provide some lockable storage but where unobtrusive in the small spaces. Groupe Lacasse’s Educational line offered the perfect piece. We were also able to put it on wheels which increased the flexibility in the space.
