The holiday season is in full swing and at the office, it’s non-stop! With the year coming to a close, the office can be a hectic place. On top of that, employees likely have many other things on their mind, such as: travel planning, hosting family and friends, shopping, and more. Now is the perfect time to use the office’s great collaboration spaces to do fun, team-building activities to relieve stress and celebrate the holiday season!
Below are some fun ideas to get the office into the holiday spirit!
Lunch Hour Dipping Party: Our office recently did this and it was a blast! Each of us brought in a dip dish with an appetizer and other treats. It was a great opportunity to try new recipes and socialize with fellow employees! 
Secret Buddy Gift Exchange: Make easy-to-follow rules such as, no gifts should cost more than $5 and allow employees to opt in or out. Keep it neutral so everyone can be included no matter what their beliefs are!
Charity Challenge: Military Gift Basket – Create small teams and each come up with a gift basket theme to send to our troops who don’t get to be with their loved ones for the holidays. It’s a great team bonding activity for a great cause.
Cookie Exchange: Have employees make a batch or two of their favorite holiday cookie. Set up a table in the break room so everyone can try each cookie! 
Charity Challenge: Donation Bins – Nothing captures the holiday spirit like giving back. Setting up a donation bin for shoes, canned good, old coats, or even stuffed animals, is a great way to involve employees and help the community.
Desk Decorating Contest: Let everyone bring out their creative side by having a desk decorating contest. Give the winner a gift card to their favorite coffee shop! 
No matter what you celebrate, coming together is what the holiday season is all about!
